Maya and her friends - Keerthana, Anusha, Naveen, Siddhu, Shruthi, Sushmitha, Soudhamini, Sujana, Malu, Ambika, Ajay and Ankitha collected donations amounting to Rs.10,700/- in a single day from Dhandeeswaram,  Velachery residents for the purpose of distributing relief materials (towels, medicines, tooth brush, tooth paste, mosquito repellents) to the flood victims at Saidapet.

CANVAS 2015 - a Painting Competition by Babaji Vidhyashram, Sholinganallur  Maya won a Nikon Camera (Second Prize) in the Painting competition conducted by Babaji Vidhyashram School at Sholinganallur - Oct 2nd, 2015. Proud of you Maya! Congrats!!! Maya with her Painting (Topic: Monuments of India) while receiving her Prize at Babaji Vidhyashram, Sholinganallur. She had been longing for a Camera for quite some time and she was so lucky to get it, thanks to the Painting competition. I was really impressed by the way Babaji Vidhyashram conducted the Painting competition-Canvas 2015 for school children and so I am conveying my thanks in a special way.
